Urban Composting

Composting at home turns your kitchen waste into rich compost for your plants and garden. Even if an apartment or live in a skyscraper, you can use compost indoor, automatic composter.

Most people have to collect the compost with a goalkeeper, as a pail or bucket that has a kitchen waste in a backyard composter or compost can be used. But what if you do not have a yard? What elements go into compost kitchen

With experience, you can get an idea of what good compost and what not. A good rule of thumb is that any material can be recognized in the final compost should be avoided in future, or cut into small piecesfirst. Some materials, such as meat, fish and dairy products can be used in indoor composters, but not outdoor composters where rats could be, raccoons, bears and a problem.

Some items compost better than others. Coffee grounds are easily decomposed. If in doubt, just add a little ', and then check the end result carefully! The following is a general table, we are in an automatic kitchen compost used.

Recommended Materials

Add a mix of "green" and "Brown" items:
"Green" products:

· Fruit, vegetable scraps

° meat, chicken, fish

"Brown" items:

· Sawdust, wood shavings (untreated, unpainted wood)

· Pourable liquid, chemicals, soaps, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals

· Plastic, metal, glass, rubber, alcohol, cigarettes

· Hard or fibrous products: Chicken & steak bones, lobster and clam shells, wine corks, avocado and peach pits, corn cobs and husks, coconut shells, lemongrass

· Sick food, human waste, disposableDiapers
